1. Overview
Bruce Trigger is an Android companion application for the LILYGO T-Embed CC1101 Plus running Bruce firmware. It uses a direct, user-authorized USB connection to display supported device output and send navigation commands. This policy describes the behavior of Bruce Trigger 1.0 as reviewed in the available Bruce Trigger 1.0 source project. It is not the privacy policy of the Bruce firmware itself or any external service.
2. Information processed on your device
When you grant USB access, Bruce Trigger processes USB connection details, firmware/device identification and the supported screen or diagnostic output needed for its functions. The app can remember a USB device name in Android's private app storage. Existing locally stored notes, if present from earlier versions, can be read, exported or deleted by the user; this release does not create new notes. Diagnostic reports can be viewed or copied when you request them. Theme images used for the current connection are held in memory.
3. Information collected or shared by the developer
In the reviewed Bruce Trigger 1.0 source, the app declares no Android Internet permission, includes no analytics or advertising SDK, and does not implement an online account, remote telemetry service, or developer-operated server upload. The developer does not receive the USB display output, saved device name, or locally stored notes through the application. This statement covers the app behavior reviewed, not data you voluntarily send by email or through external services.
4. Permissions and device access
The application requests access to a connected USB device through Android's USB permission system. A compatible phone must support USB host / OTG. The reviewed application does not request Android permissions for Internet, location or Bluetooth. Connected-device information and on-device display output are used to deliver the features you initiate.
5. Local storage, retention and deletion
Locally saved USB device names and any existing saved notes remain in the app's private storage until removed by the user or until the app is uninstalled. You can forget a remembered USB name from the device controls. Existing notes, where available, can be deleted through the Saved notes section. The app is configured to disable Android backup and device-transfer backup of its private data. It does not maintain a remote account or remote data-retention service.
6. Copying, exporting and external applications
If you choose to copy diagnostic information or export an existing note, Android or the application you choose to receive that content may process it under its own privacy policy. Review content before sharing it, because it may include details of the connected device. No automatic sharing is intended by Bruce Trigger.
7. Children's privacy
Bruce Trigger is a specialized hardware companion intended for a technically capable audience, not designed for children. The app does not create profiles or collect children's personal information through an online service.
8. Security
The connection is local over USB, with Android permission prompted for access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use only trusted devices, avoid sharing diagnostic information containing sensitive details, and keep your phone and firmware updated when compatible.
9. Changes to this policy
If the application's collection, storage, connectivity, or functionality changes, this policy will be updated with a revised date before the change is made available where required.
